All 2nd-5th graders welcome!

Our goal is to begin to experience the awesome friendships and mutual support of a Christian community. These relationships become increasingly important as they transition to middle school’s WildFaith and high school’s WildFire. Join us!

Please put your e-mail address on the CE Registration form. I e-mail the WildParents right before each event as a reminder and with the latest information.

Here’s the tentative schedule for our year of fun!  WildKids Youth Group is for 2nd – 5th graders, and we meet once a month, except December.  We usually gather right after the 2nd service ends on Sunday and we come back about 3:00.  Join us! Lunch is provided.
Cost is $8 for each event, unless noted otherwise.
Dates and times are subject to change as reservations and arrangements are made for each event.

Sept. 25, 2011 Bike ride in Rollins Savannah Forest Preserve Enjoy a picnic lunch first and stop at Culver's for frozen custard half-way through. Bring your bike, a bike helmet, and a water bottle. Parents with pickup trucks or vans needed to chaperone. The cost is $5.
Oct. 16, 2011 Hayride and Bonfire at Oak-Vue Farm in Bristol, WI We’ll cook our own hot dog lunch and make s’mores around a bonfire, visit farm animals, and jump in the hay…in addition to the wonderful hay ride! Cost is $8 per WildKid. Parent chaperones and needed and younger siblings are welcome if parents attend.
Nov. 20, 2011 Roller Skating at a Skate on Grand Roller Rink in Fox Lake Party package price is $11 (note change in cost)! Pizza & soda lunch, and regular skate rental included, or $3 extra to rent blades. You may bring your own skates if clean. Make sure to invite your friends!

Jan. 29, 2012 Ice skating at Rink Side Sports Cost is $10. Enjoy a pizza & soda lunch before we skate. Good – clean – cold fun!

 Bowling at Bertrand’s in Waukegan Cost is $10. Enjoy a pizza and soda lunch, as well as a game with or without bumpers.
Mar. 25, 2012 Swimming at LakeView RecPlex Cost is $10. Bring swimsuit & towel . Grab a light lunch at church before taking off to the pool! Like a big indoor water park LakeView has three waterslides, in-pool playground, zero-depth entry, and playful geysers and fountains! Our adult chaperones might enjoy the four 25-yard lap lanes, current channel, and hot tub!
Apr. 22, 2012 Horseback Riding A new event! Horse Ride at Heavenly Horses in Lake Villa. Cost is $12.
May 20, 2012 Bike ride in Rollins Savanna Forest Preserve! We’ll meet over at the Washington Road and Atkinson entrance to the Forest Preserve, bike along the trail to the half-way point, have lunch at Culvers which is not far off the trail, and bike back to our cars. Bring your bike, a helmet, water bottle. Parents who like to bike are needed to chaperone! Cost is $8.
