The Bible Bucks store will be open on February 21. Receive Bible Bucks each time you come to Pathfinder Sunday school and acquire more by learning those memory verses and bringing your Bible with you to church. Spend your bible bucks at the Bible Bucks store in the Drama Room (32) right before and after Sunday school February 21

Pathfinder Sunday School children for 1st through 5th graders start there morning with songs and weekly rotate through our multi-media interactive program to hear bible stories.

- Wildkid's Youth Group (2nd-5th graders) meets once a month (except Dec.) for some off-site adventure from about 11:30 - 2:30 on the 3rd Sunday of the month.
The WildKids (2nd-5th graders) are bowling on February 21. Bumpers available for those who are still learning! We will meet in the gym at 11:30 to sign in, then head off to Hawthorn Lanes in Vernon Hills for a pizza and soda lunch, and 2 games. We'll be back at church by 3:00. The cost is $10 per WildKid. Parent chaperones are needed to bowl with the kids. If you are interested contact Kathy Gillmore (wpckathyg@sbcglobal.net or 847-223-0073).

- The Embers , WPC's older adult group, meets for Bible Study Tuesday Mornings.

- The Cancer Wellness Center North, (aka CWCN), provides non-medical support services to cancer patients and their families. CWCN offers individual and group counciling and support groups, yoga, massage therapy, illness and treatment education, nutritional guidance, and dozens of other services.

- Public Action to Deliver Shelter is the coalition of volunteers and churches that provide shelter in Lake County for men, women and children. WPC will host 30-40 guests each Tuesday night in the gym, October through April. Fourteen people cover the 3 shifts (at least healf men). New volunteers will receive training at WPC
Special Need: two or more food coordinators for dinners for Tuesday night PADS. WPC provides dinner one Tuesday, other churches cover the other Tuesdays.
We need some new help this year! Is God calling you to the ministry of PADS? You need only one Tuesday night shift each month More or less is fine too). We have 3 shift choices: 6-11 pm, 11-3am, and 3-7am.

- Rest up everyone, because this week is our Spring Lock In!!! It's this Friday; we start at 8pm, and go until 8am on Saturday morning. Lock ins are always a blast, and this one should be no different. We'll get to play games, enjoy the gym, share on the rope, watch some movies, and some other surprises. Of course, we'll need sustenance, so ladies bring snacks, guys bring drinks. This will also be a great opportunity for you to work on your Whammies acts...you can even use the sanctuary for a more realistic practice. You don't need much, but here are a few things to bring:
Dress comfortably, we're staying at church the whole time (Tennis shoes if you plan to play in the gym)
Comfortable sleeping clothes
Sleeping bag or blanket & pillow
Toiletries
DVD Movies (we'll be able to get a few in, we can vote on what we want to watch - PG-13, PG, or G only, please)
Guitars or musical instruments if you'd like
Games
If you are busy and can't be there right at 8, that's OK. Just let me know if you're going to arrive later and we'll be sure to let you in! Remember, because of the lock in, there is no WildFire on Sunday...the lock in on Friday IS the WildFire event for this weekend!
