Serving Christ With Open Minds, Open Hearts, and Open Hands

The ACE Team: Adult Christian Education

Sunday Mornings: September through May we have challenging, thought-provoking Sunday School classes for adults.

Half Truths, led by Pastor Erik Holm, meets in the Bokirk Library (Room 50), September 17-October 15. This class will dive in for a fun and interesting look at the Protestant Reformation on its 500th Anniversary.  We’ll only hold this special class every 500 years, so make sure you catch it!

Reformation, led by Pastor Jill, meets in the Bokirk Library (Room 50), October 22 and 29. This class will follow Pastor Erik's sermon seris and is based on a book and video study by Adam Hamilton.

Wild Choices, led by Debbie Solbrig meets in Pastor Jill's Office, and explores issues of faith and fitness.

Unity, Reconciliation, and Justice Series led by Leanne Kallemeyn and Tom May, meets in the Room 44, and will start by looking at the Confession of Belhar and the book "Waking Up White: Finding Myself in the Story of Race" by Debby Irving. Those identifying with any race/ethnicity are strongly encouraged to share their perspectives.

The History of Islam, led by Dr. Steve Fratt, meets in the Beach House (room 42), and explores the beginning and progression of this major world religion.
